Vice President of Innovation at Octagon
Sebastian Oddo is the Vice President of Innovation for Octagon and works with creators, designers and developers to bring experiential concepts to life for some of the largest Fortune 500 companies in the US and Globally.
For the past 10+ years, Sebastian has been following emerging trends in the digital industry and helping his team come up with award-winning experiences. He has a strong passion for technology and has had opportunity to give a TEDx on how ‘Innovation Drives More Piggy-back Rides”.
Sebastian has a Bachelor of Arts from Manhattanville in Computer Science and Management. Before Octagon, he worked for a development shop where he learned about programming and has since then used his experience to support organizations like, Girls Who Code to inspire young women.
Outside of his love for emerging technology, Sebastian is passionate about mentoring students to help them create positive experiences while at school. He is currently working with My Brother’s Keeper, which President Obama launched to address persistent opportunity gaps facing boys and young men of color and to ensure all youth can reach their full potential.
He is a published author, having written a follow-up book to Lynn Grabhorn’s NY Times best seller called “Excuse Me, College is Now,” which is distributed by all major retailers.
