Wendy Wischer creates work in a variety of media from sculptures, to installations, video and public works. Much of the artwork is blurs the separation between the intrinsic history of working with nature and the cutting edge of New Genre and New Media. She is the recipient of several grants including the Pollock-Krasner Grant, the South Florida Consortium, and the Florida Individual Artist Fellowship. Wendy has exhibited extensively nationally, and internationally. Her work is in several public collections including the Perez Museum of Art and Art in Public Places in Florida, Utah and Colorado. Born in Wisconsin 1971, Wischer lives in Salt Lake City where she is an Assistant Professor in Sculpture Intermedia at the University of Utah.
