Yuko Oda was born in Tokyo, and is currently living and working in New York. Her sculpture, drawings, and animations have been exhibited at the Dumbo Arts Festival, NY, OZASAHAYASHI, Kyoto, Calvin-Morris Gallery, NY, Maki Fine Arts, Tokyo, Lumenhouse Art Space, NY, Beijing Today Art Museum, China, Gallery Aferro, NJ, 3RD WARD, NY, and the Artist Network Gallery, NY, among others. Her artwork is archived in the Viewing Program at the Drawing Center, as well as Nurture Art Artist Registry. Her work has been included in numerous international art fairs including the DIA Center (NY), Art Supermarket (Stockholm), Art Miami Basel (FL), Bridge Art Fair (NY), Diva Art Fair (Paris), and Scope Art Fair (Basel, NY). Oda obtained her MFA from Rhode Island School of Design and BA in Studio Art and Philosophy from Duke University. She was an art resident at Byrdcliffe Artist Residency and Goetteman Artist Residency in 2015, Chashama North in 2010, the Vermont Studio Center in 2008, and at the School of Visual Arts Painting Residency in 1999. She teaches in the Digital Art and Design Department of the New York Institute of Technology.
